So I got a cbi Baja 3 front bumper a while ago and it didn’t come with a light bar mount. I’ve tried contacting cbi and I still haven’t gotten a response back from them. But I don’t have a light bar bracket for my front bumper and haven’t been able to find one that works. Does anyone know where I can get the right bracket or what I can do to mount my light bar.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Figure out what you need for a light bar bracket.

Draw what you need with dimensions locate the holes decide the thickness and type of material.

check with local fab shops or contact fabricators on Tacoma World.

It does not get much easier!

    4 run, 2 don't
They're on the forum, and have their contact info listed.

    Could tag them too

@CBI Offroad Fab although they haven't been on since May of 2022...hmm

Not all lightbars are the same, and for that reason the poster above me made a good point about figuring out what you need.

You can't expect a company making a bumper to come up with a mount that'll work with every other company's lightbar.

Did you ever figure this out? I have the exact same bumper, bought a 20" light bar and am not sure how I'm supposed to mount it. Looks like I'll need to drill holes for it but would obviously prefer to avoid doing that. Below is from the website, but haven't found any additional info

"Included in the bumper is an internal mount for a 20-inch single-row light bar and bracket mounts for factory fog lights"

i contacted the seller I bought it from, which was R4T. I told them I’ve tried contacting cbi and I don’t get any replies back. They told me they reached out to cbi and got a response back saying that they don’t have any mounts made right now but that they’ll be making some in the upcoming weeks. They’ll send me one when the mount is made but that was maybe two weeks ago and nothing yet. But I would contact your seller and see if they can do something about it.

I installed the bumper almost a year ago and just got around to getting a light bar a few days ago. Since posting that, I dug through all the hardware that came with the bumper and found a pair of brackets that are clearly for the light bar. Imagine that! Now trying to figure out how to wire this damn thing...that will be interesting

Just decide how and when your going to use the light.

Constant Power or switched power? Relay and switch or just a switch rated for the load .

Circuit protection rated for the load.

After doing vehicle lights like this for some time it gets easy!

    Feel free to ask questions.

    Good Luck!

Thanks for the words of encouragement here - I was able to get it figured out. The fuse on the harness apparently blew out at some point during install so I had that Clark Griswold moment where I finally flipped the switch after a couple hours of install and.......nothing. I took it into the local 4WP store and they figured it out in about 5 seconds, popped in a new fuse and we're rocking! Still need to get it adjusted a bit, and I need to order an OEM style switch for it, but overall psyched!

Glad you got it figured out @cjc208. What type of light bar did you end up using? I have a CBI Adventure bumper on order and trying to figure out which way I will go. Thanks!

i ended up getting this one. Relatively cheap but blasts a huge amount of light and the guy at 4WP had great things to say about it. It fits in the 20” bar housing perfectly
