Speaking of GX470s, I spotted this pair this morning. They seem to have a pretty big following. I actually prefer the Lexus styling to the Prado and 4runner; IMO the Toyota grills look kinda goofy on those. At least until they started using those huge grills the size of Texas on the newer ones.

 

I've been seeing a lot of pictures of the frame cracking on overloaded trucks like that lately, mostly on 3500 Rams.

 

Yeah, a lot more than that I'll bet. If it were an '01-'02 instead of a '98 and if it was another color (any other color really), I might try harder. The bid was mostly to get my feet wet.

When your guy gets serious, let me know. I am interested.

 

Dang is this really the going rate for a 98 with 150k miles? I assume this is the one mentioned earlier in the thread. It'd be insane if this hit 20k by the end. My 96 is in similar condition with 233k; I only assumed it was worth 8k but who knows.

 

I think there's a recall for the dodge, they have a defective area from the factory lol

Seen a few that broke from a camper or trailer that should have been fine for any 1 ton lol

 

Fortunately the Ford is going strong even after pulling heavy chit around quite a bit lol

Redid the math on the 40ft GN + 2 built wheeling rigs and I was pushing it lol

 

I was out playing bumper cars on I-5 last week. It did not turn out well.

I don't think it'll get $20K but who knows. I've seen some pretty wild prices on the auction side.

My guess is it'll go in the $15K-$17K range. It is very clean and a west coast truck.

Unfortunately, it's going to take a month just to get an estimate done. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they decide to total it.

 

That sucks, hope you weren't at fault. It looks plenty fixable but you never know with age what they'll do.

 

Fault? I hit the car in front of me. I got a ticket for following too close. Four cars were involved. I was the last one. The lady in front of me got the worst of it. Her CR-V was un driveable and she got a ticket on top of that.
