Always count on it. Assuming that your current lights are properly aimed, tape a mark on the vertical cutoff line at 20ft and aim the new headlights to match.

Haven't installed mine yet but I imagine a stubby screwdriver would do the trick.

I believe it is discussed in the ultimate headlight sticky.

Double check they send you the updated TSB headlights. The new ones will not have a amber lense, it will be clear. I had to send mine back and it was an ordeal. Long story short according to the dealer I orderd from, Toyota is no longer making the 05-11 smoked TSB headlights. Edit: Also the boxes I received I could not find the part #'s and had to show them a side by side photo that they had sent me one of each. (One TSB and one non-TSB)

Would the DRL TSB be an issue if I have led DRL’s? They don’t make like any heat at all

I’ve seen the part numbers that are “post TSB” and click the link of those on TW and it takes me to a different part number which are the ones I ordered. They were 81150-04173 and 81130-04173 or something like that.

Not sure about LED's as I don't run them, but if the LED's don't get hot then you shouldn't have any issues. The part number you listed is the Pre-TSB part # that may have issues if you run normal bulbs (Granted it takes a few years).

I love mine, zero issues. I recommend putting some of this on to keep your investment looking good. Ceramic coating prevents hazing, yellowing…

I think so, they advertise protection for five years with proper maintenance. I just put a fresh application on yearly though, just to be safe.
One application kit should last you at 5 years, he’ll maybe 10, if you’re only reapplying every 2 to 5 years.
Well worth it to keep your headlights looking pristine IMO.

Considering the OE headlights lasted 10 years on my truck, I'm assuming the OEM TRD Pro lights should have a similar lifespan (unless I take better care of them).

Yes, sort of. But this gives me pause. The right assembly is the new fixed TSB assembly. The left has the new TSB part number, but the note that it is replaced by the old non-TSB assembly. Likely out of stock on the newer assemblies. So the headlights will have different DRLs and not match. I'd try to find a matching set.

For the 2nd gen (not 2.5) I was told by the dealer I ordered from that Toyota no longer makes them.
