For those that have done the auto transmission flush themselves, any issues getting the trans up to temp in the winter months?
I'm coming up on the 60k service and want to flush the trans even though I don't consider the amount of off roading I do to be severe service.

If need be I can wait for warmer days. (sounds like I'm talking myself into it)

That’s one of the few things I’d just pay the dealer to do.
Fwiw, my brother was an automatic transmission specialist.

I’ve done it, it’s not that bad. Just do a drain and fill, no reason to do a full flush.

I have done mine twice now. Just make sure you get it up to temp for the top off-I was in a garage and just let it idle, but it was hot from a twenty mile drive when I brought it in for the process. First time I didn't get the rig up to the proper temp and had a vibration... re did the process three months later. Make sure you have BOTH fill and drain loose before you drain! I filled and drove three times the first time to make sure I got the bulk of the old fluid out. Have fun, takes about 40 minutes or so.

Welcome back @Pixeltim I noticed you hadn't posted for a while. I didn't know you were in jail.

I had a 30 day ban a year or 2 ago, too. Meh.
