You've done enough civic duty for a lifetime! That's got to be more than most. I've got notifications twice, both times cancelled before I had to show up.

 

I wonder if I got one of those? Mail has been held for 2 months.

If I did, would I be in contempt of court?

Probably do have an ass load of driving tickets waiting for me. I've turned right on red so many times only to notice a no turn on red sign with a traffic camera.

Fingers crossed they didn't cite me.

Bench warrants issued !! I got a ticket for that the wind was blowing so hard the sign was twisted enough not to see. The first ever time in that intersection.

That was over$400.00 just for one ticket not including lost wages and travel expenses.

 

I've only been summoned once, 2 months after I turned 18. They say the jury 2 people before me.

 

When I called and explained I worked out of town I said my lost income from missing 2 weeks of work or paying 2 round trip airfares . The female clerk on the phone asked if this would cause mental stress I said of course not being able to pay bills.

She said no problem and marked me excused.

Poll, I watch AMA Supercross and thanks to the weather this weekends race in Oakland, CA is postponed.

I'll watch baseball or hockey once in while, but I can't sit still for very long. I guess I'd rather be playing the sport than watching.

 

Re poll. Since we got rid of cable over 15 years ago, I stopped watching professional sports, but there is a lot of great hunting content on YouTube that I watch regularly.

 

I love some youtube hunting videos; not the fancy crap, but the fellers that just grab a camera and go hunting.

 

Exactly. The Hunting Public and Catman Outdoors are a couple that I enjoy.

Well ... That project turned left.

Riding high from my unexpected success with last weekends ham bone soup I thought I would try a beef bone. I found them in the freezer right where the butcher directed me and was pleased it was so cheap. So far, so good.

After simmering the thing for an hour I thought it odd to be floating - turns out I bought beef suet instead of a beef bone...
