Looks like Lavender Steel was also just one year, not bad. Know I've seen some T4Rs with this color.

So someone went to the trouble to paint-match a hood? Impressive.

when i first got my gold truck i hated it almost as much as red and went on to paint the engine bay to prep for a change in color. Now i like it. Dont love it yet but it kinda looks a little like vintage toyota beige/cream/white, whatever you wanna call it. The flat version of the metallic gold would be cool.

I like the gold on a super stock truck like this, it looks perfect on it.

But I liked white even more and fixed the frame instead

Manufacturers need to bring back funky colors.
I don't even know what I'd get now, I guess white.

Definitely been some funky ones lately....Voodoo Blue, Lime green, that weird neon orange

I like the more muted colors not the bright neon ones.

I saw a load of 4runners on a car hauler with all the vintage decals on them. I don't like new truck buyers reppin vintage toyota colors or decals. idk why. fuck, im bleeding all over my keyboad. wtf .

True. I guess I mean funky as in Paradise Blue and the like. The more muted but interesting colors, like you said. I'd love a new (non army) green or even a good navy like on the 4R. But I'm also over so much black plastic, it screws up the colors.

White has two benefits, it ages super well (unless you have a 80/90s ford/chevy) and it pairs well with just about any accent colors

But yeah I'm with ya, I'd rather have my neato green pearl truck color more. I like unique colors...

Chevy has an awesome color right now that they insist on putting only on their shit teir cars

Mine is Pewter Pearl, which I guess was only offered for 95 and 96, so it might be relatively uncommon. It's not my favorite color by any means, but I do like the graphics on the side. I wonder why they got rid of those after 97?

It’s a 3” lift on 33s, but yes the build intent is to keep it looking classic, not like an overland rig. Personally I like the super clean look over the modded look. Wasn’t my fist color choice, but has grown on me.

Props for frame repair. I wasn’t willing to go down that route. The frame on this truck looks new, granted it was priced accordingly.

I feel like all the modern curves don't lend well to chunky technicolor stripes lol

Agreed on the benefits of white, it just works.
And that green would be so fun on a better vehicle! We don't all want grey or black.

Yeah, gotta be boxy, they need hard angles and flat areas.

Looking at that chart I notice they got rid of all the more interesting colors after 1999. I wish they'd being back the wave decals also.
