Well, he frequently is about to pass out when he finally leaves. Shows shot in canada he does well. Deserts, not so much.

If I were him, I'd stop getting dumped in the middle of nowhere without a good backpack full of supplies.

Bring a satellite phone. A cell phone is pretty much useless when there isn't another person, much less a cell relay within hundreds, if not thousands of square kilometers around you in the Northern regions.

 

Canadians as a whole, are a lot less Nationalistic, with the exception of perhaps the Quebecois, as compared to the US.

A bi-product of our 'Mosaic' immigration and naturalization policies, as compared to the US 'melting pot' assimilaton approach. You'll find Canada is more regional Nationalistic, ie Quebecois, East Coasters, West Coasters, Centrists, with their political and economic differences, than actually standing out like a sore thumb waving flag in the air to the world, like the US. IMHO, anyway.

A lot of Canadians have had to move/settle/change citizenship over the years due to economic reasons or career opportunities. This doesn't label them as traitors to their own, in Canada.
