^^^ Nice! Wanted a new Tundra bad, but they were just outside what I wanted to spend
this time around. Going to see how the Tacoma works out for my needs.May pick up a used certified Tundra down the road if the Tacoma proves to be too small. Would have loved to got a Tundra in army green though!

I thought the lexus rx350h had a naturally aspirated 2.5 4 cylinder. Rx350 has the 2.4 turbo and rx500h has the 2.4 turbo hybrid.

I might go another way. I'm going for the guy who buys one, then rags the shit out of it online and tries to make everyone else miserable as well while stating how much better Taco's used to be. Or, buy something from a different manufacturer altogether and then rag on a truck I know nothing about.

See you losers in the 4th gen section one way or the other.

Wait, I have a 2018, does yours not have a little thing popping out of the door to hand your gas cap on?

As stated before. Toyota sells millions…why would the listen?

drum brakes? This one confuses me. Drum brakes need nothing for about 120k-150k….where disc brakes need to be resurfaced and pads every 30-50k, depending on your driving. Why would you want more work?

And the turbos are fine. Nothing wrong with turbos. We had them for ages and we know how to work them. More power, less fuel. What’s not to like?
Yes an engine not designed for a turbo will be under stress, but if an engine was made for boost….it will handle it just fine.

only thing that I’m not a fan of, it seems like the floor will be lower on the Tacoma. Meaning less ground clearance for off roading. Everything else….bring it.

it will be fun to get one and put a intake, down pipe and tune it. Probably get 375 horsepower and torque out if it.

I was thinking about getting this but it already sold. These trucks remind me of 2G Tacomas.

Tundra does not look bad, I wouldn't mind if Toyota could turn down the styling a little but, the other fullsize trucks are the same way over styled.

Felt that way about the 3rd gen. Carp mouth grill and dropped the very useful (to many) 5 lug model. Same weak leaf springs, more fluff.

So I still happily roll my 2.5 gen :D

Don’t know what the 4G will hold, but I hope it retains the rear drum brakes. I need them because I go off-roading.
