There are several reports of local people sharing the shrockworks has abruptly closed, terminated employees and clearing shop. Last i saw, they ran sales recently for black friday and a 5% off sale to "offset material price increases"
Google lists them as a closed business and the website is currently down.
if this is true, this would be the last off-road fab company i would have expected to go under. They seemed very old school, grumpy to deal with on the phone, social media, etc but they have been in business for almost 20 years and ALWAYS seemed to put out a quality product.

My sliders were top notch. from the textured powder coat, welds, even the packaging.

Bummer. I have a shrockworks bumper on my Xterra. They made a well built product, and at 6 years the powder coat is holding up well. Times are tough for small businesses right now.

Glad you posted this as I was about to. I have an open order from August '22 for a 3rd gen 4runner front bumper that was supposed to be nearly done... Anyone know a way I can get my money back? Or at least a half built bumper? Or some sheet metal?

Real bummer, I have their full set of skids on my 4runner and they're top notch.

If Shrockworks has ghosted, then you will have to talk to your bank. Hopefully you used a CC. Or if you paid thru PayPal you can talk to PayPal and if they don’t help since it’s been 4+ months, then your bank.

That's sad to hear 2022 was rough on small business.

It certainly is, and it certainly was. Here's to better year this year

I'm not sure what led to their demise (if it's true), but it's too bad they couldn't hold out a little longer, things can only go up from here.

I ordered my 3rd set of Sliders on July 8th for $935. I have been texting and emailing about delivery with no luck. Looks like I'm SOL on the money!!! Working with the credit card company, but they will probably not be able to help. I posted a ShrockWorks comment in 2013 about them taking your money up front and the viability of ShrockWorks because of that. Did I follow my own advice "HELL NO".

Seems they've pulled a full ghost and wipe act. Website down, instragram and facebook deleted, fired everyone on the spot with no explanation...
I keep up with the xterra forums as a former owner, and it seems they're all confirming that it's belly up. A bunch of people have started chargebacks and stuff. Sucks to see it happen

Inflation hit this industry hard and fast! thankfully things are starting to lighten up some in the metal sector. All I can say to the fabricators in the off-road industry don't limit yourself to off-road only. Having other streams of revenue for these times help keep the cash flowing. Not sure if it was a cash flow issue but I'm sure it played a large roll in the closure.

But this one screams 2018 all over again the more you dig into it. Pelfreybilt pulled this doors down and gone years ago it disrupts the whole industry.

Before anyone asks me , I do not know the business end of the company just a fabricator there for 16 years.
That being said I understand the customer side of the situation and can respect the flaming/rants and displeasure of the situations.
I'm honestly hoping the products will be purchased by another company who wishes to continue the line of products under a new name ect.
I would happily step in and give them a hand .

Just you coming here and posing info being a fired employee of the company shows your values. I'd hire you in a heartbeat not even seeing your fab skills. Sorry to see you guys going through this.

I tried contacting them 2 years ago, called, emailed, fb, nothing. I had all shock stuff on my xterra. It was quality. But, their communication was always shit.
I did speak to the owner a few times tears ago and he seemed like a good guy. Jim Shrake.
    Bummer.
