I just wanted to drop in and say Hi. I just placed a down on a 2023 TRD Sport 4x4 DCLB in Wind Chill Pearl. I'm super stoked for it to get here in 3-4 weeks while its being built.

I've been lurking through all the threads, and I really like this community!!

Hopefully all of your guy's new years has started off on the right foot!

Thank you!!!! I am super stoked to get my truck.. I placed the down a week ago and they said earliest is beginning of Jan and latest is first week in February.

I’m excited to go on some super easy trails.

I grew up in El Sereno so you're located right next door to my old stomping grounds...imagine that?

Small world...and getting smaller.

So you got the Long Bed version of my Sport but in a newer year!

Post pics when you can. I researched recently, the overall differences in lengths...seems like all but the DCLB are 212.3 inches while yours is 225.5.

My garage is roughly 222 inches so my Sport would be a tight fit.

What are you planning in future upgrades? (If any?)

First and foremost… my name is Luan but not everyone can pronounce it so I’m grade school my teachers and classmates would call me looney and eventually it got shortened to Loon so I’m used to that nickname. Lol

I actually grew up in Garden Grove but recently moved out to Alhambra. I love it out here!!!

That’s what I’m scared of.. not being able to fit it in the garage but I don’t mind parking it out in the streets because “Taki” belongs in the street lol..

Mods, I’m not really sure yet!!! I think at first, I want to just enjoy it as is… but a hard cover for a bed for sure.

 

Garden Grove...interesting. Cal State Fullerton is north of GG...as is DisneyLand. I may have gone to Irvine a long time ago! But I do like Huntington Beach.

As for the name thing...I can understand people not pronouncing a name correctly. (That's a whole other story for me, lol)

So, you have a full-size garage for "Taki"? That length is quite a difference...just about 1 foot....geeze!

Covers are good...as are bed mats. You'll definitely need a tonneau cover to protect your bed mat! lol (Sorry, I just read a thread that was locked about stolen bed mat)
