Seriously! And we've had them before like that, and it was perfectly fine.

I know I shouldn't complain, but still... all of this Covid stuff made me realize how much I really don't 1) need to be in the office to do my job, and 2) really don't like being here at all.

Not to mention that my company was always "complaining" about not having enough office space due to the growth level we were experiencing and having to hire so many people, and not have the room/desk space for them.

 

And I guess I really can't complain anymore...

Now they're giving us Monday off for MLK Day.

Hey guys, I'm looking for tire opinions. I am currently running Cooper Discover A/T3 4s. I got about 65,000 miles out of them. I was thinking of going with them again, but looking to save some money. We belong to Costco and I can get BF Goodrich Trail-Terrain T/A for $797 + tax installed. I've priced the Coopers and can't get anywhere near that price. Most places are coming in at around $1,000.

I don't off road at all. Highway/town driving. Prior to March 2020 I was doing around 30,000/year. Now I have to get oil changes because of time rather than mileage! LOL

Any opinions on the BF Goodrich?

Always someone has to know it all though..

Fortunately my company isn't doing that, at least yet. I'd really consider going elsewhere if so.

I think those who are doing that just need to justify the real estate costs on the books.

Feeling close to normal yet?

 

Feeling much better. Worked a full day yesterday. Still have a car on my lift that I sold $3,700 worth of work on.
Part way through the day I see a repair order from a body shop that says "check for mice intrusion". I wonder who's getting that?
I also had the parts manager say that I need to look at a parasitic draw on a GS because they can't figure it out.

@HAVOC sounds like some things in the auto repair business haven't changed in the 16 years I've been out of it. The guy who knows how to fix stuff gets the problem cars, the guys that don't know get the gravy.
