I wonder if they have ever postponed a Supercross before? Most of the mud races in the past it probably started raining the day of the race. This is the whole week of the race. They’ve got plenty of time though. They could have simplified the track by taking out a bunch of jumps to make it easier to tide in the mud. An old style track in the mud would be exciting to watch.

Whole bunch of factors I'm sure all added together. Stadium. Fans safety. Travel. The area has been flooding like crazy. If it was just wet track I'm sure they carry on.

Do we really need 4 California race events anyway?

Find a venue in the mid west.

Yesterday I was told they were planning to simplify the track if needed, to make the event happen. But things changed some time today. So it must've been a lost cause.

Forecast says it's supposed to rain Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday in Oakland...:rain:On the plus side, lake season is looking promising for CA. :drunk:

Exactly. Can't simplify a track if the track is a lake. Unless we're racing jet ski's.

I agree. Why so much in CA? There’s no race in the northeast this year either. Looks like they added Tampa and Nashville though.

Guess the Oakland arena is 21 ft below sea level.

I do wonder why they got rid of the Minnesota one this year. Seemed like a good place.

I must have missed this last weekend. Is that a split start where half the track turns left and the other half turns right to all meet in the middle?

Yes lol. What could go wrong, right? Haha. So potential to be super sketchy.

The funny part to me is no one is going to want to make the right-hander if they can get the side that turns left. Not having your boot to cover the rear brake in a right-hander is also another issue with this set-up. I appreciate the overall creativity but that is kind of a big deal, in my opinion.

The top 11 are all gonna choose left unless someone has a handbrake stark out there. Maybe they can shorten the right side a bit to make up the time. Looks super sketchy for the middle pack guys. The next track figure 8, lol? And we thought A1 was technical.

The Dakar has been pretty entertaining this year. Peacock has around a 25 minute recap show each day.

Some of the privateers that were going to race SX are going to do the AX, supposedly. I know Lesher and Wageman (Robbie) are at least. I'm sure there will be more. So that is pretty cool. Lesher's YZ 2stroke is absolutely sick, btw. 1 of the best-looking bikes I've ever seen.
