Current forecast is 22" at Snowbowl, 24" at Sunrise starting Saturday night

 

I know, for the first time in more than 5 years, we are actually going up on a weekend where there is snow. Every year it seems like we pick the one weekend where there's nothing.

 

Friday the 13th and waiting for the phone to ring. New machine quote sent and waiting for a reply is like watching paint dry. I need to make something to kill some time!

TGIF for sure... this part I'm working on is a huge pain in the ass.. Small tight tolerance medical tooling component out of 416.. keeps springing and moving on me, but we're getting there

Yeah man, I’m stoked to get them in. No update on when it’s gonna be shipped but I’m waiting impatiently lmao.

 

That’s why I’m happy I’m in the field and not in the hospitals

I was thinking of maybe doing a trail run (day trip or overnighter) in the lake pleasant area. You gonna be free? Lmao

 

Lots of fresh graduates that love to throw everything they just learned at a part that simply needs fit/function..

What type of medical devices do you work with? We do a lot of Ultrasound/Imaging components and the assembly tooling for them for GE.

 

Its lucrative but its miserable, Im not long for this world.

I specifically do foot and ankle. Everything from tiny little screws to total ankle replacements. Some of the devices we use are slick but a lot of them are just over engineered.

Probably not, I'm gonna be gone all weekend up on the rim. I'm honestly not that familiar with the Lake Pleasant area, I'm in the east valley.

 

There’s a lotta cool stuff out there. I’m about 20 minutes from the lake lol

 

Watch out for mud at Lake Not Pleasant. I got stuck out there about 3 years ago. I have since learned my lesson and bough all the recovery for when my dumb ass gets stuck again, inevitably.

 

They closed off the entire north side of the lake so you can’t get out there any more. It’s all pipe fenced now.

 

Hey Maxx, do you have the ability to press axle bearings? My seals be blown.

 

I don’t have a press. No room unfortunately.

 

Hey F___rs ;-) it's been ages since I've been on the site and the taco has been rotting in my driveway with ripped extended brake line that wasn't extended long enough, CV axle boot that needs replacing and an electrical drain.... and people suck someone stole my gas (6gallons super) and water cans off my bumper that were locked.

My Question is how are the mods now? G, PG13, tolerant R?
