My AT KO2 tires are very quiet off the road.

…in my driveway, when it’s parked.

They are not any noisier than most others. Tires with aggressive mud treads are the worse for noise, but good on the soft stuff.

Suck cause in all the years I’ve been using them, they’ve never blown out, delaminate, chip, bulge or go out of round? Seriously.

I’m good thanks, they’ve done awesome in deep mud on logging roads, held up to the rocks around Pemberton, Lillooet and I still get around 20 mpg at 60 mph on road trips

Don’t get me wrong here, they are a good tire. They have baja champion on the side wall, but I don’t see no baja trucks ripping through the snow and ice or when it’s pouring out.

just not a 3 peak snow rated tire.

Yeah, I wouldn’t recommend them for snow either, but they last out here in the desert over rocks and under a load in 110+degree heat.

Toyo AT3 gets my vote. I came from wild peaks and can say the Toyo inspires a bit more confidence in wet conditions. Both were e load. I have almost 60k on the toyos in 2 years of off-roading/driving. Haven't taken them in snow but I've heard good things about them in that regard.

Have you tried Cooper Maxx’s? If so, how do you think those compare?

My Wildpeaks are still pretty new (12k miles) but they were quieter out of the box than the Duratracs by a mile. Initially I was stoked on the loud Duratracs, thought it was a good beefy sound but jesus did it drive me crazy. I couldn't even talk on the phone in the truck. Wildpeaks are significantly quieter, and even if they get louder in 20k, there's no way they can match the duratracs. Also, BFGs are overrated. Had a pair on an old F250 that ripped apart on the first day, will never buy again. They look pretty though.

One of the biggest Toyota off-road specialty shops in Colorado, which would make it one of the biggest anywhere, no longer sells BFG tires.

So many were out of spec or returned for issues they refused to carry them anymore. I'd avoid BFG ATs for a while until they get a handle on whatever is going on.

I’m live in BC, we get rain, never ever have I had a problem with hydro planning. Drive like a normal person and you’ll have no issues.

How bad are the rugged treks? I was thinking about them for my next tire but was curious about noise.

Falkens dry rot, wear quick, Coopers ST Maxx pull to one side, Duratracs have weak side walls, all stuff you see on the internet but there are tons of people who like them. All tires have occasional issues for a buyer, most have positive experiences.

I second these points. I love my AT3s, they wear nicely and have stayed pretty quiet as they've aged. I just put them through snow/ice/rain/mud over the holidays and they did great.

I got Gy ultraterrains and seem to very nice tires so far with little noise and decent price. I’ve used ko2 and hated them they look great but not good on rain/snow.
