    Anybody make a ladder rack?

I was planning to make one out of box steel, but have no idea how to mount it to the rails… Do I mount it to the rails?… Maybe just a big ol scaffold that sits on the bottom of the bed? Anybody have any wise words of warning?

Trying to find pics of the clips I used to anchor it..can’t find them but I can take more if needed. Rack it heavy .250 wall aluminum and there are 10 clamps holding it to the bed track. On really heavy loads, 1500 pounds I also wrap it to the bed mounted anchor points.

I used KB Voodoo 2 piece mounting brackets when I made my bed rack. Been 5+ years ago, but works fine for me. Not sure if they still sell them or not. Each piece is "L" shaped and they go together back to back (kind of end up "Z" shaped) and attach to the bed rails. I drilled out my rack and the top brackets and just bolted them together. Sorry, don't know how to do 'links' (KB Voodoo) or directions to my thread on building the rack. Hauled 8 treated 16' long 2x8's and it worked fine.
