First tacoma, I was driving in the snow in 4wd and applied the brakes hard enough that the ABS system engaged. I was only doing 20-30 Km/hr but what i felt from the front end was a very pronounced shutter. I was shocked how much the front end of the truck shook. I have owned 1/2 ton 4wd trucks all my life and have experienced what i would consider normal front end ABS shutter when stopping on snow, but nothing close to what i felt in this tacoma. ( 2022 trd sport DCLB ) Is this normal for this truck? For those who have had other 4wd trucks is the shutter worse or move noticeable in the tacoma? What are your thoughts/experiences, thanks.

I have an OR so slightly different braking system but it seems normal to me. A little bit loud but it functions like I'd expect.

if you have the ATRAC i hear it's very noisy. my truck doesn't have it and my ABS is quiet and smooth.

Normal. Also, in 4wd you can't lock up just the front because if the fronts lock up the rears must as well so you were also experiencing ABS activating at all 4 wheels simultaneously.
