Really liking the build, but I gotta ask.
What are the specs on that single fin?

    Ha, yes it comes easy.
My last and current is a 9'0' Midget Smith that I've had since '96. At one point many years ago, this was my quiver.

Awesome build! I really like the side-opening door. That Sikaflex is good stuff - hope it holds up well for you.

I'm really jealous of your rust-free frame... on a 2008! In PA, our frames only look like that for the first month.

Keep on building and keep on posting.

I ordered it all through a local sign shop in San Luis Obipso, CA. This time last year a 4x8 was $200 and a 5x10 was $270. Ive heard prices have only gone up and using aluminum sheet is probably a cheaper option.

Hey all, thanks for the kind words and encouragement, stoked to see folks getting a kick out of the build!

So my previous fuel filler location can be seen in the old posts but it was a little bit lower than factory and while it worked okay for the better part of a year, it eventually started to spill while filling and stopped filling hands free.

I ended up rerouting the fuel filler through the front driver side of the camper and boxing off said corner with scrap composite panels and sikaflex to keep fumes and spilled fuel out of the interior. Throw in a plastic bezel and a locking gas cap off Amazon and we're back in business, hands free at the pump.
Spy the old filler location under the hatch.

It took a bit of digging to find the right size hoses so I wanted to put everything I used in one place. These are the 3 lines: fuel filler, breather, and evap. I ended up cutting the filler neck off with all three hard lines still attached to the factory hoses then used the additional hose to reroute the filler neck to a higher spot on the camper wall.

    Line sizes:

    Fuel line - 1" (25.4mm)
    Breather - 5/8" (15.9mm)
    Evap - 3/16" (4.8mm)

    So far so Good!
