Update: So, call me old, I am and loose track of time and mileage as time goes. 65 years old and recently retired!!!!!!

I bought this truck new off the lot and have written records of everything that has been done. I have done 95% of all routine maintenance with the exception of recall work.

I just went back to my logbook to verify my suspicion of changing the sensors so often, and it really does not seem to be the case after all. This replacement is my only my third of the two sensors. First time was at 195K with the rear, then 217 with the front, and now again the second at 287K. I don't think that is too bad.

It is hell getting old, trust me!

Absolutely. When I completed the conversion to 4WD back in November, I kind of felt bad I ripped out the original transmission and replaced it with a 99 4Runner transmission but yep, I know what this truck has been through and wouldn't have it any other way.
