So I got another alignment today since I removed the spacers .

I also got measurements for my center of hub to fender (these may read about 1/2" more than a normal truck with fenders would)

    Front: ~24.25"

    Rear: ~ 26.75"

measurements are right on for a 3" with 885s on a lighter truck with light front bumper.

Agreed. Looks much better without the fender flares.

Nice to see another tastefully done lifted 2nd gen 4x4 Reg cab!

Man, your truck really turned out nice. I also have a 2nd gen reg cab 4x4, and going to install the same shock/spring package up front but with out a front bumper for now. Can you take some pictures of the cv angles, so I can see what they look like now with the bumper. Several guys on here are telling me I should be fine without a bumper.

I would go with the 884 springs for sure if I were you. Even with the bumper and winch, these 885s are stiff! The 885s also may give you more lift than you want. My CVs are pretty steep still, but not as bad as they were. I'll get pics soon.

so you would go with 884's even with the bumper and winch, if had to do it over again.

hhmmm.... thats a tough call. The 885s are the stiffest/tallest I would want to go with my set up. 884s would ride better and make your CVs happier.

Im glad I went with the 885s but only because I have the winch and bumper. If I didnt have any extra weight on the front, I would want the 884s

Well since I already have the 885 springs, the smart thing to do then is wait until I can afford to get the bumper and winch before intalling the lift.

You could probably put them on and be ok for a while, but you would want to put the bumper and winch on as soon as you can. The extra weight lowered it about an extra 1/2 inch which isn't that much, but it is good for the CVs. And the extra weight also allows the truck to ride smoother.

You can check out the "bjmoose installs OME" link in my sig for another look at how 885s turned out on another regular cab, as far as ride and CV angles goes.

Yea, the ride i'm not to worry about, mainly just the cv's and making sure I don't wear them out, because of two much angle.

Looks like you need a locker. I have a detroit in the rear of mine. It is unbeatable off road. I do not mind it at all on the road, but if i was to do it again i might save up a little more and go with an ARB. I do cherp the tires around corners a lot.

Ya if I had the money, I would love to do an ARB locker. But it'll be awhile before I do because I just spent all my money on this setup haha

More pics. The higher clearance Relentless bumper really works - :D Compare that to some other pics in my album where the stock bumper was totally draggin.
