The black one is mostly lab mix and other is mostly pointer mix. Both were rescues. Getting a bit old now.

A better picture of my boy to see how big he is. Was taken last month and I’m sure there’s another growth spurt since.

KC area question. I tried to take the bed rails off my new ‘22 for a tonneau cover install. The factory made them so over tight it took all my strength to pop them loose with a socket. The very last one stripped. Based on other threads here it is not uncommon . Bolt/screw extractor didn’t work. Went to left handed drill bits and the bit broke off and is lodged in there. I am out of ideas, tools, skills. Suggestions?

Probably won't hurt you to leave it in there. I guess it depends on the tonneau cover, my cover works fine with the bed rail system still in place.

    A pic might help

Pic added for what it’s worth. I have to remove them. The Bakflip MX4 brackets go in those holes and the bed rail reattaches to a lower connection on the tonneau brackets. It might be stable enough to stay tight with 4 of the 5 so I could potentially ruin the bolt casing and be ok. But I can’t get the damn thing out to begin with.

That is one rough bit there. I destroyed one taking them out to install my bedside moly panels, but I ended up using the middle bottom bolt from the side bin as a replacement since the side bin doesn't really need six bolts crank down to hold it in.

I don’t know where to start now. The bit that broke off is sticking out but I can’t get it out. What the hell can I do? I put it in this thread wondering if anyone knows a local shop that can do something.
