thanks guys, maybe ill hold off on them if they're nearly 100 bucks then. I was thinking of just getting leafs for lift instead, curious if the cheapie dodge dakota leafs pring hack will work for 5 lugs; knowing they had SUA models

It's an entirely different shade of white just like every other panel on the truck, so I'm happy haha. Probably end up wrapping it later anyway.

Good from afar but far from good, putting the glass on was harder than tubbing

So I am happy about never having run any on-the-wall plumbing for my air supply.

Gives me an opportunity to figure one out for the future after I buy inline air filters and whatnot.

Going to have to make a shelf for below the cnc table so I can run 1 - 2 x 5 gallon buckets for fluid transfer, and place my plasma cutter underneath.

What else "while I'm in there"?

They will work BUT the top bolt size is different on the 5lugs then the 6lugs. You may need to get different bushings for the top bolts where it attaches to the frame.

There is another option if you are just looking for lift. You can flip the axle to leaf over. you need new perches, 4x4 shock mounts, and ubolts.

that's what i was really thinking about, but wondering if their SUA leaves has enough arch to keep mine SUA with additional lift.

Should just need to match leafs count from a dakota/ s10 or go + 1 from what i have correct? Gonna keep digging to find more

That actually does help alot thank you!!! looks level with that lift in the front, u had 6 inches with the spindle and downey lift, iirc, right??? It'd prolly settle more with a bed, did u add any additional leaves?

SUA is something I haven't dealt with much but I would think that given how light your truck is that just a single dakota leaf, maybe two would be enough. I usually replace the second leaf in the pack and you can add a third over your stock third (making it the fourth)... but one leaf is probably enough, my truck was a good bit heavier and a single dakota leaf lifted it a bit

I thought those engines had timing chain issues after they switched to plastic guides, but yeah other than than that they seem pretty solid. I'd be concerned about it overheating in such a heavy vehicle though.

Whatever you use for donor leaves, look for a few things...

Are they the same width as your factory leaves?
Are they the same length (or longer so you can cut them down)?
Does the axle mount in the same position in the leaf? (some trucks have the axle centered in the leaf, some are offset)
Beyond that... a donor pack with lots of thin leaves gives you more room to customize than one with a few thicker leaves.

@0xDEADBEEF might have additional suggestions. He recently did Dakota leaves on his truck.

What's the pack look like? If it's a 3 leaf pack I would probably pull the bottom 2 and run the 2nd and 3rd leaf from the other truck
