I have some left over oak stair treads that i want to cut down into cutting boards but i dont have a router to make a nice clean edge around them or to make juice troughs on them so i’ve just got them stashed away until i can justify buying a nice router

It is. It was a work in progress when I took these pics. Last time he had it up at my place it was painted grey and on 37's. Back seat was removed for a sleeping platform with storage.

When it gets warmer (Spring). I’m replacing the drum brakes with disk’s.

I always preferred rear drum brakes over rear disc. Rear disc gives the pedal a lower feel. Every other oil change I rotate my tires and while the rear wheels are off I adjust my brakes up a few clicks. Keeps a nice high brake pedal. My Landcruisers are 4 wheel disc. Dont get me wrong they stop great but I never liked that much brake pedal travel. Maybe I'm just crazy lol.

I've heard that disc in the front and drum in the rear is the perfect balance in terms of overall braking performance, given that drums stop better but discs vent better. I've got that setup: disc in front/drums in the rear. I've never even touched my rear drums, truthfully. I probably should at some point. I need to knock out my pads and rotors soon though. Gonna be switching from OEM pads and rotors to Brembo rotors and Hawk LTS pads. Not even TBU parts, just nicer quality stuff from what I've gathered.

Not much really, just going to take the plunge and put 650# springs in place of the 720# on my Ironman foam cell pros.

The fun part is, from looking around, no one has put king (or other non Ironman springs) on the foam cells. The only thing I gotta figure is the perch part. Either I’ll have something made by a local shop or there are a few wheel spacers that might fit perfectly. But they have holes in them and might not be suitable as a spring perch…

Looking to unload 4 American racing wheels I took of my Tacoma when I replaced them with SCS. 17”x9”. Pretty rough cosmetically but fine otherwise. $100 for all 4 if anyone wants them before I list to marketplace.

You should keep up on rear brake adjustments, makes a big improvement in pedal feel & braking performance. And you're not overworking the front brakes when the rear brakes are adjusted properly. I have the Tundra upgrade on my 2 4runners & my lifted Tacoma, BIG improvement over stock. This is the 231mm tundras on my 1st gen Tacoma. The 4runners have the 199mm tundras.
