You are welcome. If I remember correctly it is an odd connection process but easy to do.

So it ended up being under select in the Enhanced Network in the Vehicle Editor category.

Had to change it from Prompt to Generic OBD2.

Thanks again for trying to help.

My Veepeak dongle just arrived. I have the OBD Fusion app and got it to connect. I see the extras for Toyota but it’s only for 2021 and below. Would it be worth waiting for the 2022 or is it basically the same stuff?

Probably the same stuff. Toyota would not redo their PIDs.

Another noob here. I just bought the app and will be using Carista. On the vehicle editor, what do you put for "volumetric efficiency (%)" and "fuel calculation method"?

I didn't purchase the Toyota add on but my main reason for the purchase is to monitor trans temps and converter lock/unlock status while towing a 3400lb travel trailer.

I scratched my head there too. Just went with the default 65% and MAF. Dunno if that’s right or not.

Anyone have issues with lb.ft torque not reading correctly? Or maybe my Tacoma really is a beast… trip max reading over 300lb.ft in below photo.

PID found in ‘Calculated PIDs’ .

There is Toyota PID in VSC control unit called Real Engine Torque. It is calculated values used in traction control. Nothing to do with the engine torque

I don't use either. Toyota does not have PID for engine torque/power.

I have Samsung Galaxy S21, Carista dongle and purchased the Fusion app along with the 2021 Toyota add on for the sole purpose of monitoring trans temp while towing. Ironically, trans temp is the one thing I cannot find to monitor. I've searched "A/T", "trans", etc and cannot find the one thing I want to monitor. Where can I find this in the app?

I've looked through: Sensors, SAE PID's cna Calculated PID's.

    Any help is appreciated.

    I appreciate the help.

Your OS looks different from mine.

It's not under sensors, SAE PIDs or calculated PIDs. Does this look like the right page to be looking?

When I search for "transmission" these are the only options I see:
