Your not alone People do this why I have no idea

Then complain the manufacture does not honor the warranty .

Anything with a warranty open the package inspect make sure it works. Then if your not going to use putit on the shelf.

    I hope it all works!

You know, it's dumb shit that keeps setting me back with this damn table.

Ran the break-in file (just a diagonal dry run), got the gantry aligned, everything is as it's supposed to be.

Nowhere in Langmuir's site does it state that I need to tighten the coupler on the Z-Axis motor since it comes pre-assembled.

Well, the only thing not working on my table is my Z-Axis jog. Began troubleshooting by swapping Z and X axis connectors; same issue.

So I looked at the Z motor carefully and I can see the shaft spinning but the torch holder remained in place.

Found the issue, coupler is not tightened down. Again, instructions don't state to do so but clearly that's the issue. Used the appropriately sized allen (5/64" fits perfect) and it already stripped upon trying to tighten it as the socket cap screws feel tight already. Sucks cause the coupler isn't tight but wtf...guess I'm sending an email and see what they say.

1 step forward, 2 steps back.

sucks. I already told you my story as well. It seems CNC tables are quite a love/hate, learning experience.

    Yep

Didn't want to half ass reply to you, but meaning to reply soon.

I just hate how I've had several issues already (albeit small ones) but it's still frustrating cause I bought all of this brand freaking new.

Pretty much anything shipped more then a few miles can vibrate loose.

Good help is hard to find. Wrong hardware in the correct bin

Did you take things apart and see just what is wrong ? Female threads or male threads stripped? Hardware to short?

I wonder what is going to be next?

What is another few weeks/ months to be up and running.

Got to first base and shot down !

They use socket caps, and the allen socket stripped damn near instantly.

@mechanicjon has been helpful replying in the Langmuir forum but holy shit, quality control is just shit.

That or the guy packaging my stuff was having a shitty Friday. Girl probably cheated on him, car broken into, and it all started from stubbing his toe and not getting a coffee that morning.

Those running Fusion 360 and setting up Fire Control for post configuration for the first time, how did you import it?

    I've got my sketch/dxf file.

I set it up, I got my machine added, I'm just at the point where I'm trying to generate my G Code.

I know the exact file path to Fire Control and even copied the directory but the initial setup doesn't show it at all

Have you edited your cutter (tool) in F360? This way F360 knows what tool you want use to cut with.

I'll see if I can find a vid that helped me the most.

You will have to find a post processor that matches your cnc software. F360 I'm sure has it already.

As mentioned, the tool has already been setup as that's part of the 'setup' process after design.

I've done all that with kerf diameter, everything.

The step where I'm stuck at (doing exactly what I'm supposed to) is that I'm supposed to choose Fire Control for post configuration.

Fire Control is...not there but it is there as in, going to the directory, I see the executable for starting the program. But I do not see it when I need to finalize post processing to generade my code.

This vid was got me the furthest. Maybe it has something about "fire control"

I use Mach 3 for my controller software. I'm not familiar with fire control.

    Yeah, I've done all that.

Was even able to watch the simulation...maybe I need to figure out a different way to 'post'

So to help me, F360 finds a post processor for Fire Control, but you can't get it to load to F360?

Is there a place you can store it in whatever file you are keeping Fire Control on your computer?

Going by memory, I have my post processor loaded to my computer. Once it's there on your PC, you only have to hit the icon "post process" to generate the Gcode.

Again, thinking about this, I think I found my PProcessor, then drag it to a file on my PC.

Is F360 asking for a directory location? I think that is where you put the FC PP.

I wish I was near my PC, I could help you better. I'm sorry if I'm adding confusion.

    Got it!

Apparently had a separate file I needed to download.

This is without utilizing Z-Axis at all yet.

Are you able to get this when you hit post process? This where you need to tell F360 what PP to use.

Where it says POST and you click the folder icon to import, I had nothing and couldn't find it even though I was in the right directory.

Had to save versus open cause I don't have files saved when downloaded, only opened.
