4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)

The next generation Colorado/Canyon with turbo 4 is 19 City-25 Hwy, the turbo 4 Ranger is 20 city-24 Hwy, so expect similar from the Tacoma.

 

Yea right. Given how the tundra is doing we will be lucky to see 22 combined

 

Toyota is quality, and they are notorious for cost cutting. They also have their gens of vehicles last a long time to reduce production costs and retain value. But that tech is antiquated, so who knows lol

Also expect GM's product to be diarrhea, GM is going to go bankrupt again.

 

Why does shortages have anything to do with carryovers

Honestly I’d be all for a hybrid. What worries me more than powertrain is all the infotainment. Seems to be lots of bugs with user profiles, PINs and what not. That would be annoying. Just let me hop in, run the radio or connect CarPlay. I don’t need all the extra junk.

 

I think the only planned full EV Pickup is the Hilux Revo

Is what we're seeing with the mules aligning with this theory? Or is it too hard to tell?

 

I think so even thought the mules are very hard to tell when camoed because manufacturers are trying to deceive people as to what it is.

a few months ago spy shots that were caught of the new Colorado were labeled Tacoma by some journalists and as soon as the truck was revealed I looked at them and said those mules had to be the GM ones not anything of the tacoma

I also saw somewhere a mule somewhere recently someone was labeling Tacoma because of the wheels and I looked at the shape and think it was actually a 2024 Ranger instead but of course I can’t prove that

 

Not sure how credible it is but I read somewhere they were likely to make a teaser announcement around the time of the Super Bowl

 

I've heard a lot of rumors/leaks that the 4th gen base with come with a 4-cyl turbocharged engine. Will it forever ruin tacoma reliability?

If I want a cool work truck, should I buy a 4-cyl 2023, or wait and see if they come out with 4th gen in 2024?
