    Thanks for sharing this recipe!!

Used orange zest b/c I wanted to eat an orange, orange/cream cheese = yummy, etc - it came out super duper tasty!
600g is alot of sugar, in the bowl it was pretty impressive - but the crust has that nice sugar crisp crunch mmm mmm mmm. . .
    The 2nd loaf to a neighbor/friend b/c I shouldn't eat both

Hmm that does sound good -
But it is plenty good and then some on its own, it is like 1/3 the way gone already

I have also been trying to cut down on the volume of sugar I consume lately - with the exception of this cake, which is why loaf #2 is gonna find a new home - carbs don't seem to affect my body composition but sugar seems to turn into fat before my head hits the pillow

It's got enough sugar as it is!

You'd be surprised at how flavorful it is already.

green onions/chives/scallions go well with the sharp cheddar, it is the acid/creamy contrast
just like the pineapple with the smoky bacon on the pizza :)
but i get that either or both are not on everyone's favorite list

the pineapple on pizza seems to evoke the most reaction, either for or against
i'll bet it is in part b/c they had crappy soggy big hunks of gross pineapple on a crappy pizza

i take fresh pineapple and char them, chop em up pretty fine and drain them well on a paper towel - so no soggy, no gross, just sweet/tart charred pieces with smoky bacon and cheese - i refuse to order pineapple on pizza but when i make it, it is actually good -

Does the dough get mixed really well?

If so, don't overproof or your baked goods could end up with a rough texture.

I used my hands to mix it so id say so. It did seem too sticky at first compared to what the recipe was showing but adding a little more flour fixed it
