I'm gathering parts for my head unit upgrade. Currently I have the stock non-JBL head unit in my 2015. Do I need to buy a dashkit? I got an ATOTO A6 for Christmas and I'm gathering the parts to install it along with my aux fuse panel. Thanks!

Yes. Look at crutchfield.com. There's 2 available, I don't remember which one I got. I had to get busy with some files so the emergency flasher button would work, it would get stuck in the on position.

I also added the thing to be able to use the steering wheel buttons, and added a license plate frame backup camera.

My atoto bolted right in. The kit provided was not exact though.

    You don’t need that

I added a Sjoybring HU and did not need any adapters for SWC

Same. I only used what was in the box. I will say I had a local shop do mine after pulling my factory unit out. I also had to reach out to ATOTO last week for a SW update. Only speed bumps I have hit so far... the included tacoma kit from amz I had to make work. It 50% of the time the backup camera does not work (just stays black). Hoping to reach out to ATOTO for a fix.

Just to tie this up, I ended up buying a Metra 95-8235B dash kit and a Crux SWRTY-6 wiring harness. It was all plug and play to keep SWC.

How do you like the Atoto? I have been researching headunits and was trying to talk myself into a $900 Sony but really like the price of the Atoto. Do you find it responsive and snappy?

Also, does your A6PF have wireless Android Auto? I've been reading conflicting reports that it's wireless Carplay only but maybe they've updated it recently?

So far so good. I'm actually trying to tie up my install today. I'll post more once it's all done.

Looking forward to it! I just ordered the A6 PF as well, with the dash cam and backup cam, along with the Crux SWC unit and dash kit.
