OK .... enough already!!!! I had to snow blow my driveway AGAIN today when I got home from work. The snowbank at the end of my driveway is around 9' high!!! My blower can't even get the snow to go over the top ... it just kinda hits next to the top and slides back onto the side of the driveway. If there is another car coming down the street in the opposite direction, we both have to slow down and squeeze past each other.

DAMN!!! If it snows again, I refuse to shovel or snow blow!!!!!!!:mad:

Anyone else tired of the snow??!!

I actually do not mind it for we love our winter sports & we want to ride til April 15th.
But yeah dealing with at home & where to put it is a drag.
I live at the end of a private drive and all the snow for our 3 house street gets pushed down to me. Luckily my neighbor owns a tree/snow removal business & does it for free. We do have to snow blow some but not much.

But in town the banks are solid ice :( Like you said two lane streets w/ cars parked you have to squeeze through & parking is difficult.
Hang on the Sun is getting higher in the sky it all will be melted soon. :(

    He might be.
I want it to snow til April 15th. Then it can get warm all it wants. But no temps up in the high 50s next week predicted. The snow will melt, then come the floods, then mud season the season will be done til next yr. lol

I miss the snow, although we have gotten quite a bit of snow here last couple of years. But nothing like back home in Detroit MI (home of the WINGS) ha ha

Me and my daughter ski so I do like the winter for that.

You might be right!! I have a little 24" snow blower. Seems like I have to go up and down the driveway forever!!!!

I'll post some pics later with my truck next to the snow bank.

    Cheers.

We have gotten a decent amount, but nothing in the valleys. I really wish it would drop like a solid 2 feet here in town one of these days, just to screw with everyones head. Then please, show me 60 degrees!

    lol....;)

Yes indeed, and cold! Zero again this a.m. I do get tired of the shoveling, the deck, the soft shed roofs. Those are not made for winter!
If it wasnt for Todd my neighbor....he is a godsend with his plow truck.

Don't mean to rub salt in your wounds, but I'm loving our spring 75-80* temps down here right now.

It's supposed to warm up some next week. The sno banks down here in SJ are starting to shrink as the sun gets stronger.

I too am looking forward to no more snow. Being a newb owner I can't wait to hit the trails!

I sure did! It was a blast! Other than getting knocked off the mountain the 4th day in by a snowboarder (he cut me off and I caught a rock or piece of ice and went down. blacked out for a few seconds after hitting my head), i had a blast! I am now looking at jobs (and might have one lined up) a little closer to CO. :D out west skiing is sooooooo much better :p

Good to hear that you had a good time & about the job possiblity. Also I am glad you were ok from the knock down. Have a some close calls myself when boarders pop out of the trees. Never been taken out, you can get really hurt.

Agreed the skiing out west is different from the East. We have had an incredible season snow-wise, ice to a minimum but its much more ice than the powder of the Rockies.

    Good luck with the job!
