My 2010 Sport with 255/75/17 on stock wheels. These fit before the new suspension. They are 32" so just a bit taller than the 265/70/17.20180212_145621.jpg 20180212_145652.jpg

no rubbing. I think this is the biggest tire you can put on stock without changing anything. I also have the trd lift kit installed.

Thanks! Looks sharp! I have the same lift kit too. I'm going to do the same wheels and tire size. Just wanted one last confirmation before I pull the trigger.

Picked up the truck from the dealership Wednesday and got Wildpeaks a/t3w 265/70R17s put on this morning. It’s as stock as it gets minus the removed air dam and tires.

Got the Ray10s and Wildpeaks put on yesterday. Love the way the truck looks now. Setup is 265/70-17 on 17 x 8.5 with -10 offset. Stock TRD Sport suspension. There are a few rubbing issues. Mudflaps, had to take those off. Still rubs on the bottom of the fender on the left side and on the air dam on the right side, only in tight turns. I was hoping to get away with no trimming, but I guess I have some trimming to do. Wondering if adding a 2" leveling kit would help. I will have to make it work though because I love the look too much to ever go back to stock :D

Just got these installed yesterday. They look great but I sort of regret not going 265/65r17 because I've already experienced one minor rub. I don't want to cut anything, I'm not removing my mudguards and not sure I want to lift.

I think I'm going to try a 2" front/1" rear level before I start cutting/trimming anything. I'm just going with spacers for now at least. (and, to those of you who will want to tell me spacers are junk etc, etc, I know the pros and cons of spacers)

Looks great, what did you do with the take off tires? I have a great local business tire shop we have been using for years, but they won't buy used tires even with less than 1k miles.

They're listed on FB Marketplace right now. Hopefully someone will want them for a few dollars.

@tbrownoutnabout I listed my stock SR5 aluminum wheels and tires with 2000 miles here, on FB Market, and on Offer Up. Took a while and had to tell a few low ballers to go kick rocks but eventually I got a serious guy locally who offered me $700 which is almost what I was asking. Paid off a good chunk of my aftermarket set up.

FWIW, I've had the same remorse once or twice and then I realized I only rub when I have the steering wheel locked and I come in heavy on a bump (like a driveway apron for example). I just accept it at this point lol.

My rub happens around one rotation of the steering wheel in either direction. At this point, the pros don't outweigh the cons... I'm swapping back to 30.6" tires. If I end up doing a little lift, I may go back to 31.6" tires.

As I stated earlier, a 255/75/17 tire fits on stock suspension. It's only 3/8" narrower than the 265 width tire, bit it's a 32" tall tire. For some reason people don't seem to want to give up that 3/8" in width. I don't get it. It's barely noticeable, but the height certainly is. I ran those on stock suspension for quite some time with no rubbing at all.

I've actually decided to proceed forward with a 1.5" lift via TRD lift at 2nd perch and a 1.5" Headstrong progressive AAL. So, I'll be keeping these Toyo's. I wouldn't want to go any taller because of the gearing loss(part of the reason I thought about going back to 30.6").

Gearing loss is negligible with the size tires we're talking about here, but that's cool.
