I nominate each and every one of you beautiful bastards for encouraging my pipedream of owning a land cruiser...

...and I'm incredibly thankful for it!

I don't think I've contributed too much to encouraging others to spend their cash, but do take full responsibility with @Supr4Lo for the lust of 35s.

There's a sale coming up guys... Also I'm now in the business of hocking services like transmission flushes. :D

Been doing the Gatorade bottle thing for a while but honestly you do lose a lot of space. And if you don't refresh that water every now and then it is nasty when you finally drink it. I definitely want a fridge in the off-road truck, but they're not cheap and space is a premium. I know a guy in Tennessee who has won two fridges and bought another one on sale. Been trying to convince him for several years to sell me whichever one he doesn't want. Ideally, I would stick it behind the passenger seat in my access cab so that way it's out of the elements, some of the larger fridges definitely need to be mounted in the bed of trucks. Either way, I want one. For all the above mentioned reasons and more... Cold drinks anytime anywhere...

And for those of you worried about battery longevity, just bring a jump back. If you don't have a manual, use the jump pack if you ever happen to run it down. That being said, modern fridges are pretty efficient. If you don't park it in the sunlight, you should be fine

depending on what one you get and the compressor. its definitely worth looking at the power draw. the higher end ones are <1 ah and cheaper ones are closer to 2 ah or more. that makes a huge difference in terms of run time and needed power system.

Late to the discussion again

Definitely get the Fuel line when you can. HD always runs decent deals around Father's Day. Look up the home depot hack on reddit too. You'll thank me later.

If anyone has an HSA I highly recommend MyMedic. They constantly have sales anyways. My only gripe with them is they default to RATS tourniquets when the general consensus is a SOF-T or C.A.T. is a better investment. But that's why I supplement from FieldCraft Survival. They sell a lot of North American Rescue stuff. I get basic Red Cross training through my job but decided it's something definitely worth investing in further.

And so far my Rubbermaid 75QT that I got for $50 on clearance has been holding on well. It advertised 5 days of ice and it's gotten close. Just a huge pain in the ass to lug around.

I'm enjoying seeing all the shiny new things. AND not having to spend my own money to see them

No one escapes the sink hole though :stirthepot:

Warm days have given me some chances to get out and do a little work and spending. So many projects and not enough time, can't wait until spring when temps go back up in the 50s. Until then it's spend, horde, and plan mode.

LOL thanks to constant peer pressure over past year (hmm who was that, eh?) I have the full RCI skid trilogy and fuel tank skid. ATH rear bumper going on in spring. Front bumper waiting til spring and maybe can twist C4 Fab's arm to make another batch of low profile front bumpers. Making progress.

Nice. The two closed triangles, are they actually closed? Poking a few holes in those spots might not be a bad idea. Just to keep winter brinewater from collecting there.

Aw, who am I kidding, you’re moving to arizona…land of the eternal rust-free toyotas.

I thought about putting a few drain holes in, but your last sentence covered the reason I didn't worry about doing it.

Literally the most useless skids ever. I’m all for spending money on fun truck mods but those are two things that are a hard pass

I would agree. 2 of the worst places to loose ground clearance also.
