Found that out the hard way, I just got back from digging her out. This was my first time ever snow wheeling.

 

Pro tip, don’t go snow wheeling for your first time alone.

Second tip. Aired down 37’s and a supercharger and you won’t get stuck

Yeah, I know it was dumb to go alone. We were staying on forest roads, but I had too much hubris. My girlfriend said "I think the snow is a little bit too deep up there" and I was like "nah, we can make it." We got stuck trying to turn around once I realized the snow was like a foot deep instead of the 3 or 4 inches it had been the rest of the time.

And as for the 37s, man I wish. I'm still at stock height, and I'm going to save up for a couple years until I graduate college, then it's a lift and 33s at least going on her.

 

You only have to learn the lesson once - it's re-learning the lesson that's a problem...

15" so far on our little Tucson mountain! Nice to have our little ski resort open again. Always amazes me that we are home to the southernmost ski slope in the states.

I was reading a article the other day about the top 2 best small town towns in AZ and number 1 was Flagstaff and the other was Mt Lemmon. I didnt know either till I read it. Then was wondering why the author didnt mention sunrise .Dont really care for click bait articles giving out my town so more people come put still had me thinking who the fuck this chick is and how much research she did while her husband was driving her overland van to the next place.

Round Valley is the absolute worst town in Arizona, you don't want to move anywhere near it!!!

Agreed. I dont mind driving thru and saying "god I am happy we dont live here."

 

AZ native and I've never even heard of Round Valley

 

lol youre lucky. Its past showlow over in Springerville and Eager. Not much going on over there. It is only like 20 min to Sunrise. CLose to all the mountain lakes like big lake, greens peak etc.

 

small town AZ native here.. I/We use to play Round Valley back in Highschool. Along with St Johns, Many Farms, etc..

Ya'll talking about small towns... I guarantee I'm from the smallest town here with the smallest graduating class. lol
