Does the upgraded shackle you offer work with the factory hanger?

I know that feeling. I had read and read, watched videos, asked a bunch of questions and this also kicked my ass.
    Glad it’s done though lol.

If I am unable to keep my tire under there I plan to. For now the tire is staying.

Do the bamf shackles use standard bushings or do they have to be ordered from bamf? Mine are needing to be replaced with the rest of the leaf bushings. Anyone got some part numbers?

Emailed BAMF and got a really quick response. Got told this part from Barnes is the replacement.
    https://barnes4wd.com/products/poly-bushing

Tmr customs is local to me, and they have something siniliar. Part number 2367,
    https://ca.tmrcustoms.com/collections/poly-bushings/products/poly-bushing?variant=39599665512534

edit: TMR’s Id is 7/8 and the Barnes is the 1”. Can always drill out the Tmr one but just throwing it out there

This is probably blasphemy but had anyone ever put BAMF shackles on arrive hangers are they compatible?

Don’t see why they shouldn’t. If stock shackles work the BAMF should. Grease fitting might be an issue?

IMG_6449.jpg finally installed mine after they sat in the shed for 4 months.

‘Does “swapping” the shackle get you more droop because the bushing(s) are “free floating”. Not twist constrained like the Toyota OEM bushings?

I ask because I have Toyota shackles but with poly bushings.

Anyone have issues with these rusting after a few years? Mine are starting to rust and I always rinse the truck off a few days after it snows here in Colorado.

Maybe around $500? It’s a time consuming project, but not too technical if you decide to take it on yourself.
