You creating a list of things you need to do?

May as well buy any and all hoses you'll pull getting to the knock sensor. Prepare yourself for any soldering you may have to do if any lines/pigtails/plugs break.

The knock sensor plug deteriorated in my hand and I had to cut it out and replace the plug on it.

Fallowed this guy almost all the way to work this morning. I wonder if he knows why he was swaying so much.

When I replaced stuff on the 4Runner and Tacoma, it was easy enough just using partsouq to get a diagram of hoses needed.

You guys need less hoses than Land Cruisers do.

Broverlanders like that guy are all bought not built. They'll never do their own work.

Saw plenty of those when we went to Tahoe.

Yea we don’t have a PHH either. We may have some which are still a pain to get to though.

I’m just amazed how much shit people are willing to leave on their vehicles for a commute. It’s all out baking in the sun, weathering, wearing and not being utilized.

Hey that's not true, there's plenty of 3rd gen Tacomas and 5th gen 4runners who drive around with their amber led pods on all day and night :luvya:

There are a handful of local trucks I see almost daily these days, at least weekly, kitted and RTTs on all the time. I sometimes wonder, benefit of the doubt, if they bought all the stuff and have nowhere to store it.

I have decide a Tacoma on 35s with armor and lockers is far better for getting groceries than actual wheeling :luvya:

They are like the state bird up here well that common. I don't know how he has not realized his shocks are either broken off or just disconnected.

The Toyota Battery that I bought in January of 21 has already bit the dust. My charger won't charge it. Getting the usual error from a shorted battery.

I called the dealer to ask about the warranty. I will need to take the battery back and leave it for testing to determine if it can be replaced. The parts department doesn't keep a record of purchases so that will be a hassle.

Right now O'Reillys has the most hassle-free replacement program that I've experienced.

I mean, I'm sure its most, but you'd like to think otherwise haha.
Obviously a camper topper like a GFC makes sense, but there's a guy I see all the time who drives a Colorado with a huge rtt on it. Like the big aluminum brick AluCab one. If my dinky roof rack hit my mpg I can't imagine what that does, plus you gotta feel the weight. To each their own I guess.

If you have a Batteries Plus near you, they're worth checking out. Often the X2Power (Northstar) batteries are on a sale, that's how I got mine. Worth a look anyway if you might wanna go that route.
(Not sure about their replacement policy though)

There is one roughly 45 miles away. Nice batteries.

I get annoyed when my $150 ground tent wears out due to UV and bad zippers after 10 years. Replacing an rtt because it baked in the sun would break me
