TRD pro grill on TRD OR with TSS

What year/trim do you have? So you had an OEM grill & camera, and swapped out for Pro Grill, but couldn’t get the camera to mount? Did you use an after market bracket or what did you try?

 

Huge thanks to this community. Nearly all of my info was listed here on different threads, great info which helped me get all parts and be fully prepared. First time Taco owner, second mod. (First was bigger cup holders). Just swapped my grill out this morning.

 

When I install the pro grille on my truck, I'll have a 2" lift installed by then. Do I need a washer with the top screw for the radar sensor if I have the lift?

 

I’ve heard difference opinions and experiences with this. I installed grill without washer. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that when I lift I won’t have issues. Non so far.

Ordered through Olathe Toyota.
This one has the camera hole. You’ll need to order a new camera bracket. I have the part number for that if you need it. I ordered my garnish through taco garage. No sensor or tss issues. Stock suspension and wheels.

 

Perfect thank you. I just tried to order from the local dealers website and it says Not Available. Sent them an email as they usually have everything in stock (Daytona Toyota).

Does anyone know how I can install a trail edition grill onto a trd or with factory front facing camera?

 

Have more-or-less the same question for the experts here...

Will the 2022 Trail Edition grille (PN PT22835220AA) fit my 2020 TRD OR? The grille looks identical to the earlier Pro grilles. Seems like the only difference is that the Trail Edition has bronze letters. (Understand that I'll need to buy the TSS garnish - confirming fit with Taco Garage)

@TRDRed, did you ever get the Trail Edition grill installed? Looking at doing the same on my 2023 OR--found the grill for $200 https://autoparts.passporttoyota.co...r=2023&model_year_code=2023:7541&updated=true and I'm guessing I need a new garnish but the mounting bracket for the TSS should transfer from my OEOM? Did you get an OEM garnish or go with one of the aftermarket manufacturers and save a bunch of $$?

 

I did! I did! OEM Trail Edition Grill with a Taco Garage garnish. Works perfectly! All of the hardware transfers over.
