It's been a bunch of year since I've done it. The bolts should prevent any shift in alignment.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Anyone happen to know the size and pitch of the bolts for the shifter on top of the T-case?

I can look in to it and probably find it... or when I pull the t-case I can measure. But I'm trying to have everything together when I start the dual case install. IIRC one of my bolts is stripped and I think I'll need to order a helicoil.

I’ve been a fan of mine. The updated boot is a lot better design than what I have. But I didn’t grease the balljoint for a good 40-50k miles and there’s still absolutely no play in it at 80k miles on them now

Whatcha gonna do first? Remember: cool stuff is way more fun than the boring things like fixing leaks.

I'd like to keep it stock "as long as possible" lol It's going to be doing only light-off roading so perhaps a leveling kit and some A/Ts or M/Ts.. eventually a soft-topper possibly! Who has time for pre-run maintenance?!

I watched this video before I did my bushings as well. Good, informative video, but I gotta admit, the part where he used a drill to get the old bushings out had me a bit worried before I began. Once I got to that point, though, I just needed a screwdriver to lever one half out and then used a socket and mallet to knock out the other half. Easy-peasy.

Looking for a baja style bumper for my 1st gen tacoma. I'm having a hard time finding any good ones. I don't want to go custom (too expensive). Anyone have any good recomendations? Thank you!!

    I said that too :)

For the most part kept it stock-looking minus the suspension + upper control arms. Most of the work since buying it has been fixing the 250+ leaks.

I like my Trail Gear front bumper. And it's probably the most affordable option for a bumper out there.

All nooks & crannies now upgraded with Dog Hair!
Doubled my coverage (5 square meters to 10) by upgrading to an Alu-Cab 270 Shadow Awning from the old ARB 2500. Can cook on the tailgate in the rain (and sun) now. Got it as much for the reflective fabric as for the increased coverage.
