Mid field is great. I’ve sat midway up on the corners a couple times and that’s pretty good too. That was in Foxboro.

I'd like to be just high enough to see the whole track.

I think its because they knew they were changing, so they have been running the blue the whole time and just covered it in black graphics until the MotoGP debut. Because the fenders were totally covered in black, which they pretty much never do that

135 or 236? You'd be near the finish line and have a view of the first corner. :notsure:

Yeah one year I got trackside seats and I could only see the pack from one corner to the next. Hearing the crowd roar and wondering wtf happened?! I always go for the 200's because it has an overhang (incase it rains) and all your food and drink is right behind you.

Thanks that's helpful! I also think it would be cool to be down close near a big triple, but think I'll pick a spot that let's you see more of the track

Be sure to buy pit passes, too. That makes the day 1000% better.

Definitely. My daughter got Tomac to sign a Yamaha hat she had at the race last year. That was the highlight of her day or month.

Best seats are usually by big triples and on the wide side of the track. So you can see
big jumps and all the long straights. :bikewhoops:

I think San Diego looks very technical with not many places to catch your breath. Any bets Roczen will slip back to the middle of the pack again?

Ya I'm still not sure what to think about KR. The 1st rd is always a toss up. I need to see him for a few more races before I can decide.

I like tracks with multiple race lines that create passing opportunities outside of the corners.
I like tracks with huge jumps. I like tracks with sections that can be ridden differently by every
rider. I want tracks to make the riders think about the track. Do I triple it? Do I quad it? Do I
double double. I can guarantee if I was allowed to build a super cross track both the fans and
riders would be like "Damn" this track is sick. :bikewhoops::bikewhoops::bikewhoops::bikewhoops:

1 thing that you have to keep in mind is there is a formula for the tracks. So certain obstacles are basically built to a certain distance and take-off angle, for safety reasons. If these guys had to completely learn all new, unique distances and takeoff angles for every track, there would be way more injuries. So they can basically see the layout and already gives them a head start on the speed needed to do whatever obstacle. Sure, some layouts someone can maybe quad or do something unique, but the tracks are loosely built to spec and it's basically to help the riders and for safety.

Been away for a while sorry if this has already been discussed don't want to beat it like a dead horse lol... but thoughts on Deegan and supercross debut this year? Genuinely can't tell if it's just fancy camera work but it looks like he's gotten a lot faster. I think he's got a good shot at top 10 finish and excited to see him out there!

As far as 450s go... been a tomac fan for a long time, he looked real good at opener (besides his crash lol). 450s looking like we have some solid racing to come. Webb finally getting his shit together and Stewart looked pretty good before he hit the ground.

Deegan is scheduled to race SX Futures, which the first round is next week at A2. The supposed initial plan was for him to turn full-time pro at Rd1 of the Outdoors this year but there are rumblings that he may do 1 of the final SX rounds in the pro class before that. I feel like the story changes so often.

Marvy out for San Diego due to practice crash. FYI for your picks is all.

Pretty cool that Mumford filled Forkner's PC Kawi spot. Must have superhuman healing abilities after breaking his wrist earlier this fall. Hope he does well with the opportunity.

Sucks about Marv. And I agree, that is pretty cool that PC is offering to spot to CM. The Suzuki he was on was pretty decent team but I'm sure that is a cool feeling to elevate to a team like PC, for an opportunity.
