Wife and I finished the bouquet today

 

You could always buy the instructions.

 

That's what I believe should be done. A lot of people don't know about buying instructions and parting together MOCs or don't want to deal with the time and effort involved, or they scroll through Amazon, etc, and find a cool model for cheap. Knockoff companies make getting the model easier.

 

I started this design about 14 months ago, but wasn't happy with how it was turning out and abandoned it.



Had a bit of inspiration over the weekend. It's back on the table, with a few minor alterations...

 

Got this for Christmas and was built shortly after

 

More progress. Really happy with how it's coming together so far. Added a cargo hatch (with cargo underneath) to the foredeck, but may ditch it for a cleaner overall appearance.

 

Parts may already be on order...

Saw the supra one last night and it links you to the original MOC page to buy the instructions. All they did on the site I was on was package the parts and ship them.

Anyone do this? Seems unnecessarily tedious.

 

I’ve seen several people do this. I have a friend that builds all the advent calendar items in bag. Then opens them all up on the 25th.

 

Is that like the lego version of building a ship in a bottle, build a ship in a bag?

sounds similar to the hovercraft my kid got a couple years ago. a lot packed into it. And good play value.
