Got a great deal on these Body Armor bolt on rock sliders from realtruck.com took a little massaging but overall install wasn’t bad. Can’t complain for about half the price of others after shipping. They give nice discounts for forum members. 97093993-103D-4F1C-B750-0080CE8D2919.jpg

They are close to the rocker, so they are ok as a step. They work better as a step for the passenger, because they have the A pillar grab handle. Maybe I need to order the drivers side grab handle. They feel very stout, but I haven’t been off road with them yet. I will say the coating impressed me. Hard to complain for $698 delivered to my door.

Have you had a chance to try them out on the trails/rocks yet? Curious about how these hold up.

I have not, pretty much just a mall crawler so far. I plan on taking a trip out west this spring and hopefully I’ll test them and the skid plates out. Otherwise I’m gonna sell along with my man card it and buy a Prius.

Looking at these now, how have they held up? Have you off-roader with them yet?

The finish has held up so far and is better than I expected. I would buy them again. I still haven’t used them off road though.

Good to hear, trying to make moves with Black Friday sales. Narrowed it down to armor body or the rhino domination dss (30%off) but I would assume since the body armor go in frame they can act as a real slider but not finding any reviews on that function of them haha.

The body armor is a real slider it is .120 wall 1.75 tubing, sandwiches on the frame, is gusseted, and requires a friend to put on.

Anyone with these have input on what you did with the electronic module on the drivers side? The bolt comes through and doesnt let it sit flush anymore. Thinking about grinding it down

I’m still thinking about ordering these. Keep us posted on how the install goes and an install shot :)

Not going to lie, quality could have been better. Some of the nuts were welded a little crooked, causing some crossthreading issues and instructions meh. But for the price, I'd say its a good buy. Make sure to get some fuel hose or something to put between one of the nuts and a brake line.

Will post a few more Photos of the underside when i get back under there to fix the module placement.

Looks great, better than I expected. Some under shots would be great on drivers side. How’s the strength of these, do you plan to take them OR?

Posted are pics underneath on the drivers side. First are just the basic mount points to the frame. Second are of the electronics module you have to get behind and how i wrapped the brake line in some fuel hose to prevent rubbing(also put a piece toward the back on the 2nd line to keep it off the frame). After that is a pic of where you can see the bolt was rubbing the plate of the electronics module because it protrudes too far in, and how i used some spare fuel line as a spacer on the studs to give it a little more standoff from that bolt. Lastly is i believe on later model years the plastic insert on the frame, i cut a slice off of both sides where the front mounting bolt piece protrudes back(i like to keep the OEM pieces in place as much as possible).
It seems pretty sturdy. Havent tested jacking up the truck from it yet, but others online have done so but they are built with same spec tubing as other brands from what I saw. I do plan to take them OR. Trying to plan a trip out west, aren't too many places on the east coast to go.

Follow up to this, there are rust stains coming from the welds on these sliders after a month

How are these now?? I'm thinking of getting them for my 2023 OR. Don't plan to off-road hardcore but want the step and side protection. Do you also have more side profile pics. Thanks

They're in the same shape, minor rust at some of the welds, sprayed some corrosion inhibitor and seems fine. Will grab some pics later today

Thanks, I found them for $540 so I pulled the trigger, for that price I couldn't resist.

They’re definitely low profile. What’s the weight on them?

What size fuel hose did you use that worked well as washers to keep the module offset?
