Ok I will try that next. Here is a current picture of the ground I’m worried this may be the issue.

I can confirm power wire is connected to the right spot.

If you can confirm the power wire is hooked up correctly to the battery with a good inline fuse installed, then check your amp fuses. If they are good, bad amp.

So researching the amp he has, they dont even have fuses on the amp.... WTF

"There are no user serviceable parts or fuses inside the amplifier"

According to Crutchfield, you may have a weak battery?

Take amp to battery 12 volt and remote directly to battery + other side to ground bad amp if it doesn’t light up

I completely agree with you. But I also would have bet it would have had fuses in it...haha

Man this thing has been a headache haha. Starting to lean toward possible bad amp, but I will try the light test later

Can you send a picture of the engine bay where it is connected. An extra set of eyes never hurt...

I think the headache started when you plugged every wire in the harness into terminals seemingly at random. Sorry, but this seems self inflicted.

We are here to help though.

That’s Fair. Probably should’ve made sure I had power before plugging in. Will send a picture of engine bay a little later. I’m back at work now.

Alright here’s an update. Kook of the day story. My friend who helped me wire didn’t put the fuse in the 12V cable. Dude was added today and we’ve got power to amp! It works! Now I’m onto wiring and ready to get this bad boy up and running. Need some help matching the speaker wires. Don’t want to blow the amp right?!

The purple and green harness attaches to top factory plug

red and yellow harness attached to the middle factory plug.

any tips? Thanks again gents y’all have been solid.

    How about this?
Measurements for the DSP in the chart below are for a DC Taco.

Hi! I'm about to do the factory jbl amplifier replacing with aftermarket 5 channel amplifier, I'm keeping the factory head unit (radio). did this harness worked for you with out replacing the factory head unit? and did you completely removed the factory jbl amplifier? Does everything works with out any issues? or did you had to purchase or add any other than just the harness for the system to work with aftermarket amplifier. thanks for the writeup.

Yes and I left the factory amp in place. Crutchfield harness would be a great option.
