Contact your doctor about that, they may have to request it be fulfilled elsewhere

yeah that was what I had to do back when it was a problem a couple times. Also some pharmacies that just outright denied wanting to fill it for liability reasons. It wasn't even a narcotic but apparently they were under fire for having too much of it in stock or prescribed or something, I dunno.

I get that the industry needs to be regulated but when it starts impeding on people's ability to get what they need legitimately, something is fucky

Right now they have too much freedom in being able to deny to fill one.

We got new insurance at work this year. One of my coworkers has asthma meds that were about $250, but now the new company won’t authorize them at all and will only approve some that are $740.

The whole thing is a disaster

Yeah it makes the news disappointingly often that random persons have been denied something seemingly petty

And that’s only 3 months worth.

our company bought another company, and they had shittier benefits. So instead of keeping our benefits and improving theirs, they just adopted the plan of the company we bought and made all of our benefits shittier and more expensive. Sigh.

Hey, look on the bright side. It probably saved someone from HR a couple days of doing paperwork and subtracted a 0 from the expenses line. Don't you want the company to succeed?? :luvya:

I used to pay $5 for one name brand med before company Rx coverage changed. Now it's "sorry not sorry, name brand isn't covered at all and the generic is $40"

To the 3rd Gen Brodozer whom I'm sure is on this forum

    FUCK YOU piece of shit

Piece of shit was speeding down the highway, cuts off the guy in front of me but has to hit his brakes cause of traffic (causing that guy in front of me to hit his brakes) only to jump two more lanes over for the exit after cutting off a few others.

    Hawaii vanity plate "R0XY7"

Fucker deserves to get his tires slashed.

Maybe something state specific? I know here in CA if I don't want to fill an Rx under my prescription benefits, I can tell the pharmacy I'm opting to pay out of pocket. Done. No hassles. Doc wrote the Rx, you can fill it wherever the hell you want. At least that is how it is supposed to be.
