I was thinking the 4wheel underground 66”wms or the 67” wms with fj80 hubs. If not i was just gonna order some off trail gear but i’m still deciding before i do mine the beginning of next year.

the power is definitely effected but since my tacoma is a 5spd it just means more downshifts and running higher rpms. k and n cold air intake is inbound so we will see if it does anything noticeable besides make the engine sound more interesting. my biggest gripe of lifting a 5lug in my experience is the death wobble that I haven't been able to correct .

Hmmm, what little I know about lifting a five lug is you absolutely need better upper and maybe lower control arms. So being https://www.chaosfab.com is no longer making the kit they were once making I understand you are SOL! With the correct suspension geometry you shouldn’t get front end issues. Wouldn’t hurt to get glass fenders & gears also… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hi everybody, just got a 2012 2.7 4 cyl 5lug and am new to the 5 lug world. Looking to get these wheels on a stock lift. With the zero offset and the 4.5 backspacing, I have no idea if this will work or not. Finding that finding rims for this guy is the unicorn! Please help if can. Thanks!

Depends on the tire size but I’m guessing that you want a 28” or bigger tire and I’m pretty sure they will rub. You need the wheels to tuck in more on a five lug unless the truck has long travel & glass fenders. Plus for off-road I think “I” go with a 7” wide. Plus try to find a wheel that’s lighter in weight.
I’ve seen Ford Ranger & Explorer wheels on five lugs. Look on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace but be careful of FBM as it’s the worst scam on earth… I’ve seen wheels for as little as $100 for 4 wheels. You can always get they powder coated.

I was thinking of running 225 -65r 16 . Not gonna be an off road truck, just like the look of those rims. At that tire size do you think the zero offset will still be pushing too far? I was worried of the caliper rub issue that many seem to run into when choosing rims...Thanks for your thoughts!
