I read somewhere that California banned pre emissions diesels, was that just commercially?

As mentioned earlier I’ve been dieting. Working in fine dining and wine i would like to think I eat good. In the middle of a fast. What do I do? Look at pictures of past meals like the sadist I am.

I ended up changing around some of the settings, there is this Australian youtuber who covers a lot of stuff, if I had left it as my doctor prescribed it was unbearable. He laughed when I told him I figured out how to get into the settings and modify things.

I've taken mine apart and pulled the cellular board out of it Doc doesn't need to be messing with my settings. I tweaked all my settings to.

I keep hoping they’ll add sensors so that they can self adjust depending on ambient lighting. Full daylight requires a lot more light to be seen, but that same amount out output at night is distracting and diminishes what drivers can see.

Commercially I’m pretty sure. We used to have a fleet of late-1980’s Leyland buses repowered with Cummins ISB’s in 2005. But none of them had DPF or DEF systems so they went to the crusher. They were good buses still, we drove ‘em to the crusher. The cost to retrofit them was astronomical.

    Some info here: https://jalopnik.com/pre-2010-diesel-engines-banned-from-california-roads-1850001952
Looks like fleets can install a matter filter to tide them over until they can put new engines in. Exceptions for trucks that drive under 1K a year.
What I didn't know was they have a diesel engine ban starting 2035. That seems...optimistic.

I thought your company was part of a nationwide operation. Why not ship/sell them off to another city?

Now can they do the same thing with how loud their sirens are in the middle of the night esp when going through residential neighborhoods, that would be great thx

I have nothing but gratitude and appreciation for what emergency responders do esp given how little most are compensated for it, but the blaring sirens at 3am going down a quiet neighborhood street just feels a little.... spiteful

But how else will everyone know they’re out there saving the world?
