This one is about done. I need to glue in the nut and get the final pickup and string heights done, but it's playable. Just a decision of how low do I want the action. Cut a stock pickguard in half and modified it to work what a body mounted neck pickup.

Beauty! The angled switch is a nice touch. I’ve seen that on Godin Tele styled guitars.

Thanks, yeah some guy was making those plates out of aluminum for $12 unfinished. Figured why not? So I got one and it polished up no sweat.

I need to figure out where to get a branding iron that I can burn my logo onto the headstock or maybe a lazer engraver.

Grab your dremel and a chunk of metal. I would be willin to bet from what I have seen so far, you could whip something sweet up! or you could freehand with a wood burner...

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I think it turned out amazing. The burst is unique!

Looks great, Kristofer! I'd pick that up & play the hell out of it. Good job, buddy :)

Went from 12/53 to 11/52 on one of my acoustics. I kinda like them. Sound pretty much the same, but the lighter touch is nice. Might be switching after this.

I usually go 13's.. how does the intonation hold with the lighter gauge?

Didn't really do much. Slightly sharp on the low e. I should have checked before I changed it, could have already been like that. All the other stings are good.

Any of you guys using an echo effect? Was working on some Reggae this weekend and it kinda made me wish I had some kinda echo effect. Sounded pretty good with some reverb though.

carbon copy at a more ambient setting and a qtron are what I use... very "Bob-ish". He would often bounce his hand slightly on the fretboard when chording, lift muting, would give a sort of Echo-ish feel too ... Haven't ventured in to the Echo specifically though.

I've never played with an echo pedal before; but have used a combination of two amps, an ABY pedal, and delay to mimic the effect. Bit of a complex solution... but can get a really interesting reverb to echo effect out of it depending on how to set the delay.

That's sweet. I gotta learn that. I do some lift muting for certain blues think George Thoroughgood or maybe John Lee Hooker style. I am just imagining a dub reggae sound in my head I want to create.

That's thinking outside the box. I have multiple amps I could try this with. I have a Wampler Ethereal delay as well.
