If only they fit 3rd gens!

I cannot verify if they fit a 3rd gen. On a 2nd gen you pull the rubber roof trim and there are factory painted stickers that cover the bolt holes. Just have to punch holes in those. The rails cover where the trim would be. You're welcome to come by and see if they line up!

 

Just FYI. My 3rd gen was the same way. I pulled up the roof trim, punched a hole in the tape covering the bolt holes and bolted it on. I ordered mine new so I can't say that the 2nd and 3rd gen are the same but I could swear I have read that somewhere. Maybe ask the question on another thread and I am sure someone will chime in.

I got my oem rack off a 3rd gen and I'm a 2nd. They are the same.

For future reference if you find another OEM for free, They are the same. Toyota changed the p/n in 2016 when the 3rd gen came out but you can see on my sites the new part number says it replaced the old part number that was associated with 2005-2015 models. So they are exactly the same.
