Hello Friends, I'm a daily lurker on this site, and I have learned so much from you all.

I was thinking about replacing my radiator, the top and bottom hoses, thermostat (jiggle valve down), and 3 gallons of Toyota (red) coolant.

It's not leaking and has no issues, but it's a 20 years old. Im thinking its better to replace it now then have an issue in the road.

Can someone please confirm if part number 16410-0C032 is the correct part.

My Tacoma is an Xtracab, V6, Manual Transition, 4x4 TRD, SR5, 130K miles. I purchased it new in 2003.

Thank you in advance, Pete in SA

Everybody love pictures, so here ya go.

If you look on the top of your radiator it will have the correct part number to match up, likewise if you take your vin and input it to a Toyota parts dealer. I actually use one from PA conicelli Toyota parts it will show you exacts from your vin

Some people here use camelback Toyota and I’ve had positive experiences with them

I believe the OE radiator has been discontinued for a while. It was made by Harrison and unless it's NOS, your only choice is aftermarket.

For the hoses, I tried to use the aftermarket ones but none fit correctly. YMMV. Your best bet is OE if you can find them or try the Continental one since that has the bends that looks like a match to the OE hose.

Using Denso's "find my part" (can plug in your VIN their as well) -

*Even though you have a 4WD, I'm including PreRunner as well for future searches. Also Denso does not have a MT option in their config choices.

For reference, the original part#s were 164100c041 which was replaced with 164100c042

The part# you mentioned (16410-0C032) and asked for confirmation on, toyota parts site show its compatible with the following:

I'm wondering if it's just the core and doesn't include the side supports/brackets (?)

Dude that engine bay looks clean. I wouldn't touch the radiator unless it's leaking.

When was the timing belt last changed? The radiator hoses usually get changed as part of that process.

Thank you all for your help.

I was able to source a new OEM radiator (16410-0C032) at a local Toyota dealer.

I had the timing belt and water pump changed 8 -10 years ago at 110K miles. My thoughts are it's 20 years old rad, and it going to fail sooner or later. Might as well source the parts and do it now. It's also hot as hell in the summer here in San Antonio.

    Thank again all, Peter

You're lucky, I've been calling around and there are only 3 left nationwide??? Mine just started leaking but hey I got 280K out of it. Like the color matched wheel moldings and bumper. Was that factory? Wish mine was like that.

Search on line they still make the radiator, though when I picked it up it was made in Mexico.

The color match fenders, doors hades and bumper was a factory option for the truck.

Leave that radiator alone!! Its ok if you want to purchase one for the future, but that radiator is absolutely fine.
