I think yes you can skip the amnesty and file straight to your trust as long as you pay. The file as individual is just for the “free” stamp process. You can’t file under a trust for free is the issue here. Unless you for some reason had it already in your trust even though it wasn’t an NFA item before.

 

Been posted previously per ATF website you must register as individual first. Now it's also been posted that you can still add "pistols" to trust and as long as you can show that was done prior to final publishing of the rule in the register then you could do it via trust

I tried to see if e forms was updated as the attorney in the prior nationalguntrusts.com link states the ATF would ammend the site but atf gonna atf

Again I ask, where were all these angry lawyers during the DM letters/solvent trap parts fiasco a year ago? Didnt hear a peep out of GOA then. Give an inch, they take a mile.

 

Don’t let the “free” stamp fool you, this is a trap. Plain and simple. Yet, there will be a percentage that falls for this and incriminates themselves as a felon past those 88 days. Before you know it, they will be coming for your semiautomatics next.

If you bought a pistol brace on the internet, they already have a papertrail to your door. No different than DM, totality industries etc.

 

I just can’t believe they want to make
felons out of law abiding citizens. First they say that braces are ok. They wait until millions of braced pistols got put into Americans’ hands.

I have no real desire to register anything which is mostly why I haven’t looked seriously at suppressors

 

I feel like our country has declared war on its citizens.

 

Sadly I agree it’s felt that way for a while.
