Super comfy, I'm tall and they basically made it so I wasn't all scrunched. They're only 16" hangers. I have to hunch a bit even to ride the Goldwing which has a super neutral seating/bar arrangement. That Road King I could whip around like a sport bike with those bars no problem though. Carved the black hills outside Sturgis for a whole day on it. It's like riding a big block powered couch all day, pulled hard even in 6th gear.

Nice, that makes a lot of sense. I always felt like a bit of a gorilla on a tricycle on mine, but it’s a dual sport so the bars are low.

Definitely heard that about the power couch tho. Was hanging out with a guy who’d been riding a tenere 650 and got a chance to ride his, uh, new girlfriends Harley. He had a big smile on his face when talking about the torque.

Since we all seem to be posting bike pics

I'm definitely not calloused up like i used to be. Kind of sucks, my knuckles get all cut up if I'm dumb and not wearing gloves. Used to be a non issue lol

Mine are bad right now and as tough as the skin is, the dry weather is the worst. The tops of my hands get cut so damn easy and it doesn't seem to matter how much hand cream shit I use. sucks

I have been getting harassed about a damn YZ85 for the past 2 weeks. I went to dealer and those little fuckers are $4800 plus dealer fees and taxes. So, like $5500. Bikes are crazy expensive now.

That seems like a lot for a small bike? I don’t know 2 strokes well tho.

I paid $3250 for mine in 2009, and saw another one of the same year on Craig’s for $3500 last week.

Waaaaay better shape than mine

Those things are awesome. Be a ton of fun in the hills.

Id probably go tenere 650 or husky 701 if I wanted to spend money

No but I can buy a $2 can of Van Sickle farm implement green spraypaint from the tractor supply and huff it with you until we think it's green.

Yeah, and for a 2 stroke. I paid 1499 +taxes for a crf50 in 2019 and its 1699 plus dealer fees now and they are 1500-2000 used everywhere. Shit is all fucked up.
