:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! So much building going on, I drove right by one of my stops yesterday, had to turn around and then nothing looked familiar! Was where it was supposed to be, but nothing that was near it was there anymore!
So, a putz day in the sunshine. Have a second solar panel for the shed water system, new drivers seat belt for Little Big Red (old = ugly = refuses to clean), can put some pepper spray out because I have a racoon on video, and my pest detector hose can get set up. Plenty to choose from!

Sun shine and blue sky, I can see sunshine and blue sky. First time since December last year I’ve seen the sun and blue sky. I’m not sure how to handle this. I might actually venture outside and soak up some vitamin D. I’ve got so many projects I haven’t been able to do I dont know where to start. Think I’ll have another cup of coffee and plan my day. Wifey will be quite happy to get me out of the house.

Just get out in it! Plan what to do with the next one while enjoying this one! We'd have loved to share some of that atmospheric river, but we literally managed to steal 7 hundredths the whole time.

Shed panel get some sunbathing company.

Just got back from Deadwood. We'd planned on staying through Saturday but after the terrible conditions and a storm supposed to hit again we used the better weather window to come home. Still had a road closed south of Casper, which added significantly to our time. And the road we detoured on was gnarly and had plenty of ice.

I got to play some poker though, so the trip was worthwhile. Four nickle-roll tournaments in which I was chip leader in one and in the money on another when we decided to chop the pot. I also sat down at a live game, $3 to $50, and did very well there. At one time I considered going professional. It's always fun to sit down with a new crowd and see if I can take their money, LOL...

Yes, many of the Starling Satellites are busy at this time over Ukraine. I like the RV option, $599 for equipment and $135 a month, with option to start/stop service. Starlink site says available for immediate shipping? My area too (92131) says availability in 2023. It would be interesting to see how many single pay items I now have could be serviced by the Starlink system? Internet...cell phone coverage? TV broadcasting? Radio? If so, one might actually come out ahead!?

Going to be a nice play day around noon.
Finished a little project last night.
I built a lure rotator for helping me keep my lures smooth
    and without runs or sags

    7638C79E-73F7-4002-BCC1-29BEBAB646C9.jpg
So now I don’t have to walk around with a lure on a pair of vice grips keeping it in constant motion while the epoxy dries for a hour or two.
    Have a good day all.

    F**k, f**k, f**kity, f**k...

We always turn off the water when we go away for an extended trip and when we got back last night the water was frozen. First time this has happened. I set up a space heater in the crawl space thinking it would thaw out overnight and no bueno.

Next step is to call the city and see if the connection/valve at the street might be the problem or if they have any ideas. The service into the house is a galvanized pipe and I've heard of people hooking up a welder to metal pipe to thaw it. The pipe going into the ground in the crawl space has a ground wire attached to it.

    Any ideas?

I NEED A SHOWER! AND COFFEE!!!

Good morning. Welcome to Friday. Yesterday was overcast and drizzle all day, in fact the last two days have been sort of the same. Today the sun is out, and the temp is 43 at 08:30. Heading to the gum then off to get a haircut. Not a busy day at all. I might start to get tax materials together for the accountant. I might be able to itemize deductions this year. I had almost 10K in medical bills. Cataract surgery was expensive, but worth the cost.

The crawl space is warm. It appears that the problem is underground and beyond the house.

    Morning all:

Mike, that lure rotator that you built should be a welcome addition, I have read where guys on walleye central who paint custom lures use something similar.

Frozen pipes stink Travlr, only a minor inconvenience unless they burst.
Looks like you have a side income, does Uncle Sam get a share of winnings!

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! It's a grey today as it was blue yesterday. Did all that outdoor stuff except the seatbelt - maybe today. Found a pinhole leak when I turned on the spigot that the critter detector hose is connected to, so probably going to have to shut off the water and tend to that. And go from there.

Well it turns out that the city shut off the water yesterday before we got home because we've had a huge water leak for some time. They say a hundred thousand gallons in the last week. I have no idea where the water went because there is only a small wet spot out by the meter.

Plumber, blue stakes, and insurance company all involved now.

    There goes my poker winnings...
