So I replaced my clock spring on my 06 TRD sport to fix my cruise control. Now my driver's airbag isn't working. Has anyone had this issue and what steps did you take to figure out what was wrong?

I’d go back and make sure everything is all connected like it should be. There is also like a gray connector you have to pull off the old clock spring and add to the new one.

    Ok. eBay part or OEM?

I’d go back and make sure all connectors are seated correctly including the 2 connectors at the airbag have the clips seated. If you have then disregard. It would be way more unlikely that you have a faulty new OEM part.

Or get the code read. Most obd readers though won’t pull srs codes.

I checked all connections and afterwards had my mechanic check it last oil change. He didn't have time to do a deep dive and I'm not sure I want to pay for that. So it's not the connections. What am I missing?

Any other work done on the truck? Seat removal for any reason?

You do have your seat belt on, right?

I think the air bag light stays lit if you are in the seat and not belted.

    That’s a separate dash light.
