Scangauge A-pillar mount product line - a mount for the new Scangauge III. A simple, easy, and robust way to position the SG III where you can easily see it without blocking your view of the road.

The SG III is a pretty nifty gauge, a great upgrade from SG II - it can display up to nine gauges at once (compared to only four for the SG II), has a multi color touch screen, and can be set up with audible alarms. Definitely a much more modern version of the SG II.

Our mount works for all 1st Gen Tacomas with a-pillar grab handles.

My SCII lives below the AUX outlets velcro'd to the shifter housing. I don't need to stare at it while driving, so it's all good.

You're very welcome! I realize that most vendors gravitate to the 3rd Gen market, that's a more lucrative market - but there's something so cool about the older rigs!

 

It is pretty sweet tho.

 

It's a personal preference to a large degree. If you use the gauge primarily for diagnostics on the driveway, or to see your average fuel economy, then down low is just fine. I look at my SG gauges more frequently than at the ones in the instrument cluster, since the latter are nearly useless. So I like to monitor fuel tank level, water and trans temps, and STFT pretty regularly - and I'm afraid to take my eyes off the road at highway speed to look down.
